When to go Seek Professional Medical Attention


Although the common cold normally takes care of itself within a week or so, it has the potential to grow into something more serious. There are several common warning signs with regards to when to visit the doctor.

1)      Consistently coughing up high levels of mucus.

2)      Consistently feeling tired.

3)      A high fever.

4)      An earache.

5)      Having a stuffy nose that lasts longer than two weeks.

Generally, having a particular symptom that is consistent displays the cold escalated into something dangerous or that you might not have had a cold to begin with!
